Today's reflection
Even if we could call all powers our own, we should consider ourselves beggars standing outside the gates of Heaven and, holding out our hands, asking for God's Grace as if we were begging for alms; for Grace makes us the children of God.
Meister Eckhart, O.P.

What God can do...
May I thank you and the Dominican Province of St. Albert the Great friars and those at the Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus for your prayers. Approximately four months ago I suffered from severe congestion and was told by my doctor to take a CAT scan, at which time six tumors were found at various points of my body. I was told to follow this scan with a Gallium Scan for total confirmation of cancer. I prayed prior to that test (at which time, was revealed that I should take the medication, but no chemo or radiation) I expressed that to my physician and he said “do not panic” but we’ll check as to what to do. The test report came back, but the tumors had gone. This is what your prayers did for me. Thank you for your prayers.
